The Planning Commission is responsible for the land use planning of the town. It is charged with representing all members and interests of the community and looking out for their general welfare. The Commission endeavors to bring long-term perspective to short-term strategies, to educate residents about the purposes of planning and to encourage public participation in the planning process. A major role of the Planning Commission is to develop the Town Plan.

Planning Commission meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the St. George Town Office.
