TOWN BOARDS / School Board

The St. George School Board is part of the Chittenden South Supervisory Union (www.cssu.org) which also consists of the towns of Williston, Shelburne, Hinesburg, and Charlotte. Despite having no school, the St. George Board has three elected directors, each serving a term of three years.

The St. George School District has entered into a long term agreement with the Williston School District (www.williston.k12.vt.us) that allows St. George children to attend Williston at no direct cost to parents; all costs of attendance are covered by the St. George School District. Students in grades 9-12 may enroll either at Champlain Valley Union High School, or another public high school and receive reimbursement at an annual rate equal to the statewide 9-12 average public school tuition cost.

The Chittenden South Supervisory Union Board meets the 2nd Wednesday at 5PM in CVU Room 160. The St. George School Board meets at 7PM immediately following the CSSU Board in Room 164 or 165.
